Best Double Stroller For Twins: Our Reviews
Evenflo Minno Twin Double Stroller
“The Evenflo Minno is my favorite budget stroller for twins. It’s simple and doesn’t have as much storage space as something like the Joovy, but it’s surprisingly convenient and well-equipped for the price. It’s also much sturdier than other inexpensive doubles, which is super important as your twins grow. It’s rated for just as much weight as the premium options below, too. You’ll be able to get just as much working life out of it. I also appreciate that while there’s nothing groundbreaking about the design, it ticks of all the basics. It has good sun protection, all the essential conveniences, and comfortable reclining seats for your little ones. Having said all that, I do think the Joovy is a better everyday stroller. If you can afford to spend more, it’s worth doing so.”
Joovy Scooter X2 Double Stroller
“Joovy’s Scooter X2 is my suggestion to the average parent with twins to tote around. The biggest difference between this and the Evenflo is how much more storage space you have on the Joovy! It still fits through standard doors, but it has a whopper of a storage basket under the seats. The jumbo canopy is also very convenient, since it covers both seats thoroughly without you having two adjust two smaller canopies. What’s particularly impressive to me is the one-hand folding mechanism, which you don’t normally find on anything but umbrella strollers! It works perfectly and is a great example of how well-designed the X2 is. All in all, the Joovy is an ideal everyday double stroller for parents of twins. The only thing you can’t do with it is jog. If you want to be able to take your twins jogging, go for the BOB below!”
BOB Revolution Pro Duallie Jogging Stroller
“My go-to recommendation for any parents with two kids to bring jogging is the BOB Revolution Pro Duallie. It’s perfect for twins as well as differently-aged kids, since the seats are identical (just like the Joovy and Evenflo). This is as good as jogging strollers get. I think the suspension and wheels are absolutely fantastic! They take all the bumps and knocks out of the ride for your little ones, even if you’re on a dirt or gravel path. You can also use this thing as a travel system, which is convenient if you already have car seats you love from BOB or Britax, or if you’re in the market for car seats as well. Even putting aside its jogging street cred, the BOB is a fantastic double stroller. It offers great sun protection, plenty of storage space, and the most convenient folding mechanism I’ve ever seen on a jogger. Be aware that this is a premium stroller, though. You probably won’t find it for less than $650.”
Which of our recommendations is the best fit for you and your twins?
The Evenflo Minno is clearly the best bet if you’re on a tight budget and don’t need anything too fancy. It doesn’t have as good handling as the Joovy or as much storage space, but it gets two kids around town handily and is quite convenient for a budget model.
We suggest the Joovy Scooter X2 to the average parent with twins. It costs a bit more than the Evenflo, but offers more storage space and conveniences. We also think it handles noticeably better around town. Unless you want to jog and need the BOB’s suspension/wheels, this is as much money as you need to spend.
The BOB Revolution Pro Duallie is our recommendation to parents of twins who want to take the kids jogging. It costs twice as much as the Joovy but offers unparalleled suspension and handling on all kinds of surfaces. You can’t put a price on this kind of peace of mind, so invest in this one if you’ve got a very active lifestyle. If you’re not going to be jogging with your little ones, it’s overkill by a long shot. Overall, our pick for the best double stroller for twins has to be the Joovy Scooter X2 Double Stroller thanks to the amazing amount of storage space it can offer.
